COMPUTER PROGRAMMING

"Computer programming is the process of writing code to facilitate specific actions in a computer, application or software program, and instructs them on how to perform. Computer programmers are professionals that create instructions for a computer to execute by writing and testing code that enables applications an software programs to operate successfully"(Cote, 2022).

Computer programmers use programming languages to write, test, and maintain code. These tech professionals create programs and software that a large number of people use every day.

    Computer programmers use programming languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, C++ and some others to create websites, applications and others features which we use in most of our daily activities. Applications like those we use mainly on our mobiles can be created using the Java programming language by programmers who are familiar with it. Most of the websites which we use to engage in education or business are create using python programming languages and its likes. Computer programming can be a time consuming quest and very demanding but it's through this process that we can command and instruct our computers on what to do, when to do it, and how it should be done.

Creating a computer program is complicated and involves procedures which include:

1. Conceptualizing the goal of the application

2. Building a layout of the different parts of the program

3. Writing a code

4. Debugging the code and resolving any errors

5. Testing the application

6. Releasing the program to beta users (Carlton, 2021).
